review 1: Like other reviewers here, I thought the first novella was really promising, with likable, believable characters and a terrific setting; even though the story was somewhat predictable, I was really interested in how Cathy and Grady were going to work it out. Borrowed Dreams was not believable or realistic for me. The characters were not as appealing, and the ending felt rushed. At times, it felt like two different writers; the first story definitely had more spark to the writing and ideas. I would give it a 2.5 if I could, due to the charm of That Wintry Feeling.

... moreren't born with entitlements. I think I needed to read about Carly Grieves and her challenges of growing up in foster care. Reminds me to be thankful for my own stable family life and upbringing. My only dislike in this book is that there were many typos. less
