review 1: This is an adorable, laugh out loud book! Perfect for the holidays and fun to read. Cat doesn't talk, but he does hold up signs and show you what he's thinking through his body language. The book is written in a style that has a narrator "talking to" the Cat, so facing pages have the Cat illustration alongside the narrator text. The text is simple, but fun, and the beauty is in the illustrations where Cat's attitude fully comes through. Perfect for fans of Mo Willems books.
review 2: Cute Christmas story about a cat who is on the naughty list. Cat decides that being Santa would mean that he could give a present to himself. Instead of doing that, the narrator tries to convince Cat to do something nice instead. Eventually, he does and gets himself on the nice ... morelist. Santa makes Cat an official Santa's Helper. There's a lot of pages in this book, but only about a sentence on each page, so it goes quickly.Good for a holiday storytime. less
