review 1: Underwood, D. The Loud Book. Houghton Mifflin Books (2011).The Loud Book! dives into the different "types" of loud. There is a good loud, a bad loud, the kind of loud where everyone is looking at you, and many other examples. Reading level is preschool through first grade, and younger children will definitely enjoy the book because they can follow along with the book and make the noises that go along with each loud noise. The pictures in the book are very cute and colorful.
review 2: This was an adorable book about the different kinds of loud. My favorite was "deafening silence loud" with the mother finding the children eating all the cookies. I like how the illustrations lend so much to the content. They are simple, cartoon-style, muted colors and bright spl... moreashes, and fuzzy creatures. It looks like pastel (not sure though) with solid base and hard lines on top for texture. You could definitely use this for story time and have it be interactive! less
