review 1: *Sigh* I am now officially in book slump, book hangover, whatever you want to call it. The story is complicated and you have to pay attention or you will get lost--but trust me, it is TOTALLY worth it. The beauty of love, forgiveness and finding family in the most unlikely of places will make you smile. The humor and witty lines, (especially Jack's) will make you laugh and I daresay everyone can relate to Emma as the modern day Everyman. I took a week to read this one. Not because it was bad, or too complicated. I took a week to SAVOR the story because I knew I didn't want it to end. I want more of Jack and Emma. Let me rephrase that...I NEED more of Jack and Emma and I hope this isn't the end of their story.
review 2: Let me say how much I really loved this b
... moreook. The beginning was a bit of a different way to start the book. I of course thought it would jump in right where the first book left off and that is NOT what we got. It started off with a story about characters that I had no idea who they were...I was a little bit disappointed, but as I read and got into the book I liked the tie into the rest of the book. Loved all the old and new characters and all the struggles each one had to endure to reach happiness. less
