review 1: Mandy's love life is non-existent thanks to her six overbearing brothers. Yes, they're exasperating, but I love the brothers anyway. Locke, the eldest of the six became the head of the family when they were orphaned and still decides for them even if they were already too old to decide for themselves. He was the one who orchestrated the plan to have Cole, their long-time friend, to marry Mandy.Although Amanda was in love with Cole since then, she didn't like being manipulated and it hurt that he was only paying attention to her because her brothers order him to do so - thus the game of wills began. Only that he meant well - and I love to hear his story after seeing a glimpse of 'what-could-be-Locke's-happy-ending'
review 2: I haven't read any in this series bef... moreore but I have read other books by Dee and this one was pretty much as expected. It was a typical contemporary erotic romance, a fun, entertaining read and I really enjoyed it. The characters are well written and so funny! I loved Amanda and Cole and they were perfect for each other. Cole is a computer nerd but he's also pretty sexy too and I don't know about anyone else but a hunky nerd does it for me. ;) And I loved that Amanda could be just as nerdy with Cole. I mean, come on, what girl will sit and talk to a man for hours in elvish? So cool!!! LOLIt did get a bit annoying that Amanda kept up her silly charade for so long though. It felt like the author was just trying to stretch the story a bit but it wasn't too bad. I just wanted it to end because it wasn't really necessary to carry on that long.The secondary characters were very entertaining too. I LOVED Locke and Susie! I SO hope they're the next book because that is going to be one interesting story. Those two butted heads non-stop. I'd like to know more about Amanda's other brothers too.I give this book 4 Stars and recommend it to any and all Contemporary Romance lovers. I guarantee you'll love it like I did. Can't wait for the next book!!! less
