review 1: 5 AMAZING so SWEET STARwhat a cute and adorable book....the relationship between CB and burke were sincerely, they in love each other but none of them realize it yet ha ha ha..they so warm each other and protect each other ..when their realize their attraction, phewww chemistry blew up the air ha ha ha...i love both of them and the other character..i was LOL in the last chapter a lot ha ha ha
review 2: I enjoyed this light romantic comedy set in a small town. The characters were relate-able and believable. The small town feeling was spot on and you felt immersed in town politics. Dumped at the alter Cass aka CB must figure out why men don't seem to notice her. Enlisting the help of her best 'guy' friend, things go from bad to worse once she starts taking advice... more from all the wrong people. Things begin to rapidly change between her and her bestie. Tenorio is one of my favorite authors because she takes serious topics and places a humorous yet in-depth look at how these issues play out in society. This story was a perfect example of learning about self worth, accepting your differences and trusting yourself to make those hard decisions even if you lose people along the way. Their union wasn't perfect and they did not come out blemish free. A great stand-alone in the RDC series. less
