review 1: I really like this book it gave a great new twist to the whole vamp wolf beast shifting world. While some of the traditional stuff is in here the author really took it and made it her own and I love that. I love the Intercal love story between our hero and our heroine and without giving away spoilers I can't really tell you too much except that you will really enjoy this book. This is the first book I have read from this author and I will be buying the second installment they are standalones from what I can tell so they are not cliffhangers but it looks like all the stories do you continue on so you can read more about your characters I think as the stories seem like they would be linked. There is some mild violence so if you don't like violence then I wouldn't read this b... moreook there are some steamy scenes not too intense but enough to get your blood flowing in heart racing and there were some moments where you teared up a bit or two in your heartstrings got pulled so it was a well-rounded book and I did enjoy it.
review 2: This was a good book. I didn't want to like it in the beginning because of the whole vampire being over the wolves. In the other books I've read the vampire's were strong but the wolves held their own and it was more an equal battle. I think my favorite in this was Alba, she was the key character that really brought the story together. Amy was too silly especially in the beginning with her work. Marcus was too short tempered to really connect with him. Finding out the real story of Victoria was a great addition to get to know him. In the end it was a good story and I'll look forward for the next. less
