review 1: I loved this book! While it addressed some heavy issues, it still had some LOL moments and some love! I am excited to read Mando's story... She is hilarious (vulgar and profane, but still hilarious)! I don't want to say much about specific characters, because it would spoil the plot for others, but I will say the characters are relatable and engaging! I couldn't put my iPad down! The author was able to reedem a couple characters who I thought were lost causes! Impressive! This was my first Delia Steele book, but it won't be my last! I'm going to order Book 2 right now!
review 2: Have you read "Trailer Park Princess" by Delia Steele? First off can I say that if you haven't read this book you need to. It made me laugh, cry and hurt all in the same book. Its one ... moreof those books that made me feel like I was right there with the characters experiencing everything they experienced. I didn't want to put it down and got a serious book hangover at work the next day because of my lack of sleep. Was I tired the next day? Yes! Did i regret it? Heck no! It was something different and enjoyable. I fell in love with the characters even though I wanted to kill a few of them at times. I loved that Rory wasn't your typical weak character depending on some guy to be happy, and even though life threw her some sucky curve balls she never gave up. She continued to fight for her happiness and that of those around her. She was shy but was also tough enough to defend herself and her friends. At the beginning of the book I was in love with the relationship Between Rory and Toby I was hopping for their happy ending. He was cute, sweet and it seemed like he really liked Rory. But then you see a different side of Toby and it isn't as nice as it seemed at first. He deserved a few kicks in the a** lol but he managed to get back on my good side by the end of the book.Rome is the best guy ever!!! He was Rory's hero, he helped her when she was in trouble with one of her mom's "friends" and just stuck around after that. He Took Rory and her brother under his wing while taking care of his own brothers. He was the perfect match for her :) Amandolette was hilarious and an awesome friend to Rory. This loud, outspoken, no filter having, not caring what anyone thinks about her, Latina is the best friend Every girl out there needs. I cannot wait until her book is out! So all in all I give this book 5 stars! :D less
