review 1: I'll start with a foreword, it might not have seem so bad, if I had read the previous in the series in which other characters, and maybe those ones as well, had been introduced. However, there are way too many characters involved, with too many hints about what had happened to other characters at some other time - and those obviously never come to terms. The three main characters were no more than an outline: one is a cop and a domme, the other is a firefighter and not in the "lifestyle", the third honestly I do not know anything about, except that she enjoys playing in a club and not too much pain. The plot was... Well, there was no plot. Some events come after the other, without rhyme or reason. The characters are surprisingly emotionless, outside of lust and ecstasy.Even... more the hot scenes did not really do it.That will be my first and last from this author.
review 2: Twice the Bang is the fourth book in Delilah Devlin's Delta Heat series. Each book can be read as a standalone book but in my opinion, they are more enjoyable if read in order. In Twice the Bang, recurring character Beau McIntyre is interested in submissive Pansy Patton. Pansy is a popular lady and is also pursued by firefighter Billy Sorenson, newbie to the BDSM scene. All three come together in an interesting storyline. Definitely recommend! less

Disappointing. Was too rushed. Not as good as #1 and #2.Bought from Diesel sale.

Even though this is a novella series, I still liked this one the best.
