A Devereaux Dime Store Mystery
review 1: Devereaux springs into action when one of her best buddies is the main suspect in the death of one of his clients. She's sure Boone is innocent, as is the third of their group of friends, the police chief's daughter, who is as determined to outrage her father as she is to help Boone. There's a little too much romance-novel agonizing over which of two men sets Dev aflame with his kisses, and sometimes it's hard to see just why Dev is so devoted to her small town, but the quirky characters are fun to read about.
review 2: Devereaux Sinclair is given antique chocolate molds by a woman named Elise who is later found murdered. Dev's childhood friend Boone is blamed for her death. Dev must find a way to clear Boone's name. Her ex-boyfriend, Noah, claims that he w
... moreants to help her solve the murder. Does he really want to help or is he just using this as an excuse to get closer to Dev? Jake, Dev's boyfriend of several weeks, finds out that Noah is back in Dev's life and needs to take action by letting her know how he feels about her! I liked the series and this last book has left me hanging!! Fun read that kept me interested all the way through. Definitely recommend reading the series. Looking forward to reading the next book. less
