review 1: A book group using Devereaux's dime store for a meeting finds the guest author has alienated many of his readers. But no one expects to find a corpse the next morning, certainly not Dev! She has enough problems with the two handsome hunks in her life. She might love either--but how can she tell when she's busy trying to separate both? Actually, I find the romantic plot gets in the way of the mystery, which is why I don't rate this higher.

Dev trying to make ends meet opens up her store to several clubs. One night The Stepping Out Book Club was having a writer as their guest. During the meeting the writer gets mad and storms out . That night his body is found outside the back of Dev's store. This is not good for Dev. Dr. Noah Underwood and Deputy U.S. Marshal Jake Del Vecchio both are two handsome suitors of Dev's and they will go out of their way to help her when she is threaten . I got so tickled at the two handsome suitors of Dev's. They will make you laugh and you will feel sorry for them at the same time. I loved this cozy mystery and I think the romance between Dev and her two suitors really made the book. less
