review 1: I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a deep book with multiple layers. The two characters in the story are Ori Taylor, a rock star-esque musician, and his older brother and ladies’ man, Del short for Delphinius. The conflict of the story comes when Del returns from college. He comes back with an angry attitude toward Ori .We find out that he missed being popular and known. When Del was 8 he tried learning how to play guitar but no matter how hard he tried, he simply could not learn it, but Ori was able to learn how to play by ear. Once Del reached college he realizes that he is not at the top of food chain which makes him jealous of Ori’s newfound success. In conclusion I found the characters rich, appealing, and the story priceless
review 2: it... more was awesome! it made me want to be in a band and it had cool web blog things in between some chapters. it's a kinda of story where it is romantic but that is not the main focus and it had some "action" parts (it's a fight scene) and the band has completion and are trying to find a band name and are trying to deal with crazy bloggers who eventually become girlfriends and stuff. it is a really cool book, I would highly suggest reading it. less
