review 1: This was a decent book, but not good enough to make me want to read the entire series. The main character was confident, unless she compared herself to her BF that worked at the bar with her. The fact that she had a 1-night stand that ended up turning into something more wasn't very believable, but a nice idea to escape to. Maybe if the book was longer and she played hard to get for 5 minutes, then it would have been better.
review 2: I am reading this in the Rock Star Romance boxed set of 12 stories that is 99 cents for a limited time. This is a great short story. Darcy sees herself as fat while her best friend Tiffany has the perfect body. They both work in a bar that showcases rock and roll bands. Darcy has loved Gage Tucker, lead singer of Dark Fire Love f... moreor years. His band shows up at the bar and after the show he comes up to the bar and ask for shots and then he ask Darcy if she is busy after work. Darcy thinks he is talking to Tiffany, because lets face it, Tiffany is ever mans dream. Well not Gage's dream woman. Read it to find out what happens between Darcy & Gage. You will enjoy it, just like did. Great job D.H. Cameron, looking forward to reading more from her. less
