review 1: Lanie is helping out her brother and sister-in-law for the summer with their new triplets only to find that she has gathered the interest of Lucien, an alpha from a neighboring pack. Lucien knows that Lanie is his mate instantly, but she is a bit skittish when it comes to accepting him. He plans to show her he will treasure her, but first he has to let her know he is a shifter and when there seems to be others from the pack who do not want to acknowledge a human mate, Lucien will do everything he can to protect her.I liked this one quite a bit. Very fun read, Lanie is a virgin and a bit oblivious to the art of dating, she is adorable as she tries to understand what is happening between her and Lucien. Will definitely try more from this author.
review 2: Err... more, well, it has a nice cover, and an enticing blurb. Unfortunately, this one didn't come up to my expectations (hopes). This was a book that told a story, rather than immersing the reader in it by drawing you into the characters with rich description and emotion. I found this a good story, but it didn't pull me in. I finished it last night, and I don't even remember the name of the female lead. Enough said. less
