review 1: This book is a fine companion to the Reacher series by Lee Child. The pacing is pretty good, similar to that of a Reacher novel, even if the constantly changing setting began to weary me towards the end. The author throws some nice twists in from time to time, similar to those we find in Reacher novels. Disappointed in the conclusion as the book uses the search for Reacher to delve into another mystery and at times begins to lose focus. Still, I think this is a clever idea and will look forward to other titles in this series.
review 2: Being a Jack Reacher fan, I was excited to read this book. However, my excitement was a little diminished as I read. While the FBI agents are searching for Jack Reacher, he is never found. One reason I'm glad I read it is t... morehat it prompted me to go back and read "Killing Floor" again to review the history of Jack that was referred to in "Don't Know Jack. I was relieved, also, to find at the end that Lee Child had, indeed, endorsed Ms Capri's books. less
