review 1: The first in the series and a great way to begin. In Dianne Harman's Blue Coyote Motel a mad scientist has invented a drug that seems to cure depression and makes you happy. A range of different people then stay at this particular motel, each with their own problems, then wake to find themselves feeling wonderful. But not everything is as it seems, of course! The writing is sharp and fluid and the author has created characters that are involving and believable. This story is thoroughly absorbing and is highly recommended.
