review 1: LOVE LOVE LOVE Donna Fletcher! Always a must read AuthorReeve & TaraI love the plot, setting and characters. Love the dynamics of the McAlpin Brothers, funloving, teasing, chivalrous, determined, serious, honorable and they all seem delectable :)I need to mention the wonderful mommy Mara again. Getting to know her boys makes me see what a wonderful influence she has had on her boys and how she shaped the perfect men I would marry :)I am going to keep listing their qualities and they all have the same, but its so rare these days i really need to keep listing them.Reeve is my favourite brother so far. ;) He is fun, teasing, passionate, friendly, caring, strong, funny, determined and always has a smile on his face - ooh there is so many qualities, i would chose this brother.T... moreara has the strongest will power i have ever seen. Boy i would have folded a long time ago with a guy like that!! Jeepers. One tough cookie. Love her innocence and fun loving nature, the caution had me frustrated at times. :) I might be wrong but my money is on Duncan being the Rightful King of Scotland, allthough I love love love me some Reeve. :) The Saga Continues.
review 2: While I enjoyed it, it took me more time to finish this one than the first. The story is good and the characters really great, but it didn't caught me in the same way as 'Bound to a Warrior', one of the reasons being that there are many basic similarities to the first story and that the "curse" situation dragged for a little bit too long. I loved Reeve, though and have added him to my book-boyfriends shelve. He's sexy as hell and a very playful man. He's always grinning and teasing those around him, but don't believe he's silly, because when he means business, you better watch out. He's incredibly strong, intelligent and courageous, and seems nothing can ever stop him. Still, I can't say who I prefer out of the four brothers, because I loved Duncan very much as well, and have yet to read more about Bryce and Trey. I also liked Tara. I mean, she's strong, brave and very honest, but even if I acknowledge she's been through a lot, I felt she wasn't really assertive when it came to the damn curse, rather ambiguous and non-sensical at times, so she definitely didn't got me as Mercy did, who I believe is smarter and quicker, in my opinion, and whom I missed during this read. So far she's my favourite heroine in these series. Anyway, now comes Bryce's story. I'm not only intrigued about him and his love interest, but also about the whole thing around the real king. Can't wait to find out who's going to be and how things will unravel. less

Interesting story, but the author does a lot of telling instead of showing.
