review 1: The hapless alcoholic thrust into the role of investigator. She has issues and the people around her has issues. I never did find out what was wrong with the timeline although both she and another character felt something was off. There was just enough humor to laugh out-loud while at the same time shouting "get a life." I did thoroughly enjoy reading the book and trying to determine which of the issue-bound characters was the stalker and the killer.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book and read it in it's entirely in two days. I love a book that keeps you turning pages and debated on whether to give this book four or five stars. By the time I reached the end, I settled on four stars because, with it's wackiness and slightly over-the-top ending, I just couldn't... more in good conscience give it a fifth star and put it on the same pedestal as the great work of literature I've read in the past. I will say I mostly enjoyed the author's use of AA without being entirely cliche and the main character's smart-mouthed wit was clever and relatable. Overall, this is a funny, interesting, quick real that I found very much enjoyable. less
