review 1: This is my second time reading D.R. Rosensteel's Psi Another Day. I loved his take on the "Mental Arts" and ninjas versus bad guys. The twists and turns Rinnie went through to find the drug dealer and not reveal she was a Psi Fighter to the world, or worse, the Walpurgis Knights. The way there was a love triangle that was not in the forfront was a great added touch and a nice surprise. I can't wait for the next installment of Rinnie's Psi Fighting adventure!
review 2: I really wanted to like this one. It sounded like something I would love. I just couldn't get into it. It seemed just wrong for these two kids to be following a serial kidnapper. Then it really bothered me that the MC just let someone bully her and then these other students did the same and though... moret they had to put up with it and with drugs. The whole thing just completely rubbed me wrong and felt so unrealistic, especially when the MC is a trained fighter (physically and mentally). Made absolutely no sense to me. I ended up DNF. less
