review 1: This is the male POV to Emily's Story. I love how this author gives alternate mind sets on the same events. I enjoyed Jake's take on the events in the first book. As women, we think men make lots of mistakes. Often we forget that their minds work differently, so seeing Jake's POV adds an interesting dimension to their story. Both the hero and heroine make mistakes because they are human. Often men are portrayed as not giving a damn about hurting someone else. In this book, that is not the case and Jake is just as wounded as Emily. They eventually get to HEA but there are, lots of roadblocks along the way. The writing is concise and the characters well developed. Each book in this series is better than the one before as the author becomes more sure of her storytelling abil... moreity. Continue the Reid saga with those of us known as the Reiders, there is always room for one more in the family.
review 2: I love having the guys point of view. This was really good. You really got to go through a lot of the same emotions but from his point of view. And the fact that he instantly loved her or at least was instantly obsessed was really good. He respected her even though he wanted her!And I love how you hear from him about the fact they have kids! And he still is deeply in love with his wife.Very good book! less
