review 1: Selesai dalam masa 1 hari... Apakah maksudnya? Adakah ianya begitu best sehingga ku tidak boley letak? Terus terang... Bukan itu sebabnya... Best tu memang best tapi yang sebenarnya I was free the whole day yesterday and I made the right choice when I brought the book along with me. It was a good read indeed. Basically, I'm giving 3* for the whole story. The extra 1* will be explained later. Actually I cannot remember who Ayyad is or in which book he was included in this series but not remembering who he is doesn’t bother me at all because this story itself is very, very entertaining. Humour allllll the way. And of course the best of all would be my makcik Sherry. I absolutely love her. To me, she is the main dish in this series. Every time, reading E-Man’s book, I wou... moreld always, always look for her. I like Ayyad. I honestly like him. Even though he is a Romeo, Awatif was never out of his mind. I guess it’s true then what people say, "Romeos make the best husband" aye? :D I also like Ayyad’s sense of humor and I especially like it when he ‘sakat’ makcik Sherry. My guess is, between the three of them (Uwais, Rayyan n Ayyad), he clicks the most with Makcik Sherry. I also like Awatif. She is a good person and kind hearted. Always listens to the parents and then to the hubby. I like how she solves her family matters in her own delicate and humorous ways. I also like how she doesn’t listen to others and try to find out the truth out of her own initiative and doesn’t involve others. I guess she is a Muslimah thru and thru and I guess that is why she is meant for Ayyad. I especially like how she tackles her husband in telling the truth without actually nagging him. I am learning from that. Now, if there’s anything that I would like to know or confirm, will meet the hubby with a magazine in hand. Hahahaha… I must say that E-Man has a very good marketing strategy. She markets her books very, very well. All her books relate to each other and when you skip a book, you would want to read the other books that you missed. And even if you’ve read it, you would want to read it again and if it was borrowed, you would want to buy it and make it your own collection. Hence, the great marketing strategy.The extra 1* is for the epilogue. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE EPILOGUE. This book, according to the author is the final of the UWAIS series. Why UWAIS? Because he was the pioneer of this series. So, since this is the last book, in the end, she gathered up all of her protagonist and narrates about each and every one of their lives. Of their families. Of their happy endings. It was a very beautiful closure. A closure that I always seek for in every reading. All in all, I like this book and I LOVE the series. I’m not sure how E-Man’s next book would be like but I hope that it would be as entertaining as this series…
review 2: Ayyad dan Awatif telah ditunangkan sejak kecil lagi kerana kehendak orangtua mereka. Namun, hanya Ayyad sahaja yang mengetahuinya. Bila Ayyad di pindahkan sekolah di sekolah yang sama dengan Awatif, Ayyad senantiasa buat onar. Sebagai seorang pengawas, Awatif sangat tegas dan amanah. Ayyad selalu tertangkap oleh Awatif dan ia menyebabkan mereka sentiasa bergaduh. Awatif tak tahan dengan sikap Ayyad lalu minta untuk masuk asrama. Semenjak itu, mereka tidak lagi ketemu. Masing-masing melanjutkan pelajaran keluar negara. Ayyad mempunyai rupa yang kacak, lalu mempunyai ramai teman wanita. Awatif juga mempunyai ramai peminat tetapi dia tidak pernah melayani mereka kerana dia telah berjanji untuk berkahwin dengan pemuda pilihan keluarga. Alangkah terkejutnya dia bila dapat tahu Ayyad adalah tunangannya. Awatif meneruskan juga perkahwinan mereka dengan reda. Awatif dapati Ayyad sangat berbeza dengan dirinya. Ayyad sangat menyukai kucing, tetapi tidak dirinya. Ayyad hanya makan mi, tetapi Awatif lebih suka nasi. Rumahtangga mereka diduga dengan kehadiran Laila yang menggunakan ilmu hitam untuk menundukkan Ayyad. Tetapi Awatif sangat pandai menangani Laila sehingga Laila insaf dan memohon maaf dari dirinya. Awatif juga dapat mengubah sifat Ayyad yang playboy itu sedikit demi sedikit dengan lembut dan berkhemah. Dia menggunakan kata-kata manis untuk memujuk suaminya kepada kebaikan seperti berpuasa sunat, mengaji dan meninggalkan rokok. Pada suatu hari, Awatif yang sedang mengandung telah diserang seekor ular. Browny telah berjaya menyelamatkan dirinya. Tetapi kucing itu telah cedera. Semenjak hari itu, Awatif dapat menerima kucing kesayangan suaminya sekeluarga. Banyak pengajaran yang dapat di perolehi dari watak-watak dalam novel penulis ini. Terimakasih. less
