review 1: For some reason I went into this thinking it was a romantic thriller and a full book. I guess I wasn't paying enough attention. This is a short novella about two long time friends who finally get together. It was good for what it was, but I couldn't help but be a little disappointed (my own fault I guess). There really wasn't any plot or character development and the fact that the male lead was a firefighter wasn't even relevant, so I don't know why it has the cover it does. I always love to see people who've had feelings for each other for a long time finally come together and have a HEA, but that was it. There wasn't anything else to it.
review 2: Tarney has had the longest crush on her best friend's older brother, Ethan, since she was sixteen. Now, he'... mores her neighbor. Her very hot neighbor. She doesn't want to ruin her friendship with Ethan's sister so she doesn't act on her attraction...or naughty thoughts. However, that doesn't mean she can't look, right? A Peeping Tom, Tarney has been secretly watching Ethan's workouts from the shadows of her porch at night. However, one night her clumsy balance sends Ethan running to her aid and quickly discovers that Tarney has been watching his workouts from afar.I didn't know what to expect considering Eden Summers is a new author to me, but Sneaking a Peek has won me over! Sneaking a Peek was a highly enjoyable read. Eden Summers has written a cute, sweet, and deliciously hot story with this one. Tarney and Ethan had great chemistry; you can just feel the hot sex vibes buzzing between them. Sneaking a Peek also had the perfect blend of humor, romance, friendship, emotion, and a big dose of hot and sexy fun thrown in. Although the story was short, the pacing of the romance didn't feel rushed. I also really enjoyed the writing as well as the characters as there was depth to them. Moreover, both the storyline and plot were well-written.Ms. Summers also managed to capture Tarney and Ethan's friends to lovers story beautifully in Sneaking a Peek. She also managed to successfully write a complete story in a novella that leaves the reader very much satisfied after reading. This story was also wonderfully wrapped up at the end with a pretty bow on top that definitely left a smile on my face. In all, Sneaking a Peek was a pleasure to read and definitely a recommend from me! This was my first work by Eden Summers and I'm confident to say that it won't be my last.
