He meets a mysterious girl whose wounds keep getting worse and whose watch ticks backward. Can you save someone from something that's already happened?I warmed up to the book as I went along. Still not exactly sure how Lexi got stuck in her time loop, but the ending was satisfactory and I felt Dan and his family made progress.
review 2: I picked this up because I love a good ghost story, especially one where I don't know what's going to happen next. I read it all in one night. It's a fairly short book. It was a bit more predictable than I was hoping for (for example, the message on the tree was immedia... moretely obvious even without knowing the details that were explained later). I liked Daniel as a character, and I liked how there was a vagueness about his problems. I enjoyed seeing him change subtly over the course of the book.While the events leading up to the end of the book were not unexpected, I was pleased by the actual ending. I liked that Daniel's father got involved. Overall, it was a solid book, and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a quick, spooky read. less
