review 1: I accidentally read this series in reverse order so it gave me a different perspective on the characters, however this book felt thrown together. The character development was lacking, especially if you hadn't read the other books yet, and I felt the story was rushed, giving a quick look into each of their lives. I felt this was especially true after reading the final book which was drawn out and longer than the other two.
review 2: Out of the fading series this one is my favorite and the one i was looking forward to the most. This book doesn't happen after Fading but along side it. So different and I loved it. There just isn't many great M/M romance books out there. This had it all love, passion, anger, betrayal, loyalty, new love, and just the right amount ... moreof sexy times. Blair has weaved a beauatifully tragic unlikely family that I wish I could be a part of. I think every woman, and every man, need a Jase in their life. I fell in love with his beautiful soul and amazing personality in Fading. The love and loyalty that he shared with Candace made me jealous that I haven't found a Jase for my very own. It still amazes me how so many people struggle with the issues that Jase does. He deserves to be so happy if he could just get out of his own way to see that his happiness is right in front of him.Unlike fading where we occasionally get another POV than the main character this one is all Jase's POV. But the way Blair writes you feel like you know what everyone is thinking. Mark is the perfect match fo Jase. He is so understanding of Jase and Candace's relationship and Jase's innsecurites. All he wants is Jase and the love that they can have will be so beautiful and perfect. less
