review 1: I won a copy of this book from a Facebook blog giveaway and I'm extremely glad I did. I was completely enthralled with this book from the very first page. This book is about Sam and the people and events that lead her to finding out who she really is. Along the way, she finds love with the one man she has always loved, Ian. She also discovers things she never knew existed.I loved Sam and Ian's relationship. The chemistry between the two is undeniable. I love the fact that they get a second chance. Ian introduces Sam to his friends when they help protect her from the secrets they have been keeping from her. Sam also discovers her best friend is not who she thought she was but in towards the end of the book things start coming together perfectly.Elena also introduces you to ... moreJason, Cara, Trent, Eve, and more of the characters. You can't help but fall in love with most all of them. Even though I loved Sam and Ian, I also fell in love with Trent. My heart broke for him when I heard things he has gone through. Maybe the future will be brighter for him. There is so much more I could say about this book but I don't want up give away any spoilers.Elena Gray did an amazing job with this book. It's filled with romance, suspense, action, drama, and interesting characters. If you haven't read this book it's definitely a must read. It will have you turning the pages and not wanting to put it down. I can't wait to see what happens next..
review 2: I love to read books by Elena Gray. The main reason is how she writes her books. They are somewhat dark, suspenseful and I am always satisfied after reading it. This book was no exception. I really enjoyed it. I love how this author has a darker theme and keeps you in suspense without making you frustrated.I will definitely be waiting for the next book to come out in this series. I am anxious for Samantha to meet Scott’s father. I was not expecting Samantha’s heritage to turn out to be what it was. Samantha’s nightmares do finally get figured out but you find out at the same time as the main characters. I think this is another thing that I really enjoy about this author is that I do not figure it all out before it is revealed. So many books anymore are very predictable and while the author are still good writers I do like for a book to be unpredictable or surprise me somehow now and then. This story has many things in it that will appeal to many different readers. There are shape shifters of all different sorts as well as gods and goddesses plus you have fighting and plenty of mystery and action. The romance in this story is also a good point in the story as it is a main part but it doesn’t overshadow the rest of the story. Speaking of romance Ian is a awesome character and I just want to give him a bear hug! I can’t wait to read the next one.*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.* less

Not bad... A bit draggy, I didn't feel the thrill, but still a good read.
