review 1: This was a sad, moving tale not the light, feel good read the cover conveys. It‘s told in multi POVS about four teenage friends involved in an auto accident and the death of one of them. As the story unfolds you see how everyone is coping with the death and their parents learn a lot about themselves and their children. This book is fiction, but it makes you stop and think. It was hard to read this book at times as this is a lot of parents’ worst nightmare. Despite being slow at times with a jumping timelime, I liked my first Elin Hilderbrand book and plan to read more of her books.
review 2: Emotional story of the aftermath of a horrific accident. Delves into the pasts of the four teenagers in the accident describing past events that led to moment t
... morehat changed all their lives forever. It wasn't just four young high school age children a car, but their families that were torn apart and had to put their lives back together. Anyone who has raised teen agers can relate to the moments of terror, heartbreak and turmoil. Characters in the story are realistic and well developed. less
