review 1: I am giving this three stars cause there are no half stars, but it is more of a three and a half star book. I have to admit I am not really a romance book lover. So I was a little hesitant of this book. At first I was interested but not completely pulled in and then towards the middle of the book i feel in love with the main character Lizzie. I loved her humor, I completely understood her frustrations and the stress she felt of taking care of young kids. The story was well written and entertaining. I guess the thing that brings me to not giving it more stars, is that is was slightly transparent and the ending wrapped up way to pretty and unrealistic to me. I certainly didn't feel like I wasted my time, it was good just certainly not amazing.
review 2: re... moreading this book ALMOST caused me to do something that i NEVER do while reading a book. about a third into the book, i found myself flipping ahead trying to figure out why things were happening and what was going to happen next -- i couldn't stand the suspense. thankfully i "slapped" myself and put the book down for the night and made myself pwomiss not to do it again...and was it ever worth it!! less
