review 1: This book was suggested to me by a fellow book group member. While the author's background in writing romance novels was clear, this book was entertaining and enjoyable light reading. The setting was wonderful. Who could argue with placing a mystery in St. Tropez? Actually there were at least three mysteries going at once, a lot of characters and side trips. A few times I had to suspend disbelief. Overall I enjoyed this one. Happy endings all around.
review 2: Of the three Mac Reilly series books by Elizabeth Adler that I've read in the last couple of weeks, "There's Something About St. Tropez" is definitely my favorite. And that's saying a lot because I loved the other two! Primarily, this was my favorite because of the band of "Misfits" that Mac and his fianc
... moreee Sunny meet and help while on vacation. This colorful cast of characters included two young children, each lost in his and her own way. The children were the heart of the story, in my opinion, and I cared the most for their endings. Trite though it may be, there's something about this book that drove it straight to my favorites list! less

After the first few pages, it wasn't a bad read -- it was just unremarkable in any way.
