review 1: See my review of Emma and Me. A much needed sequel to clear up many mysteries in the first book......but poorly written. Dates, places, time frames,and situations were not consistent between the novels and this bothered me to the point that one night, before I could continue reading, I made a hand-written list of the inconsistencies between the books. It was a page long. Once I got that taken care of I felt free to move forward and just enjoy the book for what it was. Stupid ending though. You can't write a book like this and expect it to end all rosy.
review 2: The book that follows Me & Emma is a wonderful continuation of a compelling story of love and loss and murder and mystery. I've heard it said that this opened up more questions as to whether Emma... more even existed and who killed her if she did exist. For me, all those questions were answered in this book. No spoilers, folks, you need to read it for yourself. I really enjoyed both Emma & Me and What Happened to My Sister. Brava, Ms. Flock! less
