review 1: Why do I do this to myself? The only reason I admit to reading this book was because of the cover. I know, I know, your never supposed to judge a book by its cover but I can honestly say that the outside is better than the inside when it comes to this one. The short summary of the story is he likes her, she hates him, they end up in bed together, ( which is an area he lacks skills in) weeks later she's pregnant and they decide to get married, but not before confessing their undying love for each other. Ta-da now you don't even have to purchase this horrible story and its equally horrible characters because I did it for you, unfortunately for my mind and eyes who ultimately suffered through this, now if you excuse me I am going to try and rid my memory of this book and start... more another one that will make up for what this one lacked.
review 2: This was an intense, passion filled romance. Dominic had an instant attraction to Sydney when she came to work for him. Instead of acting on his attraction, he came off as rude, and arrogant. I really liked Sydney’s personality in this story. She stood up to him. Dominic also liked the fact that Sydney stood up to him. When Dominic could no longer fight his attraction, and gave in to the chemistry that was pulling them together, the passion was hot. Sydney was still leery of Dominic, and he had to work for her trust, and to win over her heart. I loved the way Dominic was always trying to take care of Sydney, and trying to feed her. Sydney didn’t want anyone taking care of her, so she fought against it every chance she could. The banter between Sydney, and Dominic was really good. If you enjoy a good romance, I think you will enjoy this book! Sample from chapter 2The silence of the office created an intimacy she hasn’t known existed before this moment. Her eyes looked up into his eyes, then involuntarily, they dropped to his mouth. She didn’t realize that she’d licked her own, but she knew that her body was aching to see what it would be like to touch him, to feel his lips against hers. She had to get out of here, she told herself. But her feet wouldn’t move. It felt like she couldn’t even breathe. When his head slowly lowered to hers, she thought she just might faint from lack of oxygen. But then his lips touched. Slowly, ever so slowly, his mouth caressed her own. She felt her breathing shudder as she inhaled sharply. Then she lifted her face up higher, silently begging him to deepen the kiss. He promptly understood that message and her body went up in flames when he pulled her abruptly into his arms, his mouth devouring hers and his tongue demanding entry. less
