review 1: Oh God.. I love this story, and especially Cass. I love you a bunch, Cass. He's so wise and cute. He had a soul deeper and older than even my own.Aidan: "You'll be good at baseball. It's in your blood."Cass: "I wasn't born with baseball in my blood, Mister Pole-ow-ski. I was born with cancer in my blood."In the end of reading this book, I was drenched. Cass's death left me heartbroken.
review 2: Overall a good, emotional read! It lagged a little in the middle and I thought the switch in narrators was confusing at times. I don't think that Libby and Aiden had distinct enough voices so sometimes I couldn't figure out who was narrating. The author left a few loose ends: Evita and Tony, Libby's father, resolution with her mother. I don't understand why those charac... moreters were introduced. The end was surprisingly emotional and well written. This book was atypical in that it was a little melancholy for a contemporary romance! less
