review 1: This is the reason why I love m/m so much! I absolutely adored this book! I loved the relationship between Parker and Jace. I loved how patient Jace was, but I also loved how Parker was okay with exploring his new feelings. There were times when I really didn't like Amy's involvement in the story. I thought Parker was also dependent on her needing him, but I loved their relationship as well. I wish I had a BFF like Parker. Overall great story and would definitely recommend!
review 2: I have mixed feelings on how to rate this story, mainly because I was thinking too much about the character, Eva. I don't want to think about a female character when I'm reading a M/M book. I really hate that.I think she was too much a part of the plot, and I blame this for ... morenot liking this book as much as I wanted to.Jace and Parker are very lovely characters, especially Parker.I love the way that Jace handles Parker confusion about his sexuality, I think the author did a great job in that aspect. What I didn't like, is how Ava deals with her abuse. Anyway, I don't think a story about female abuse should be here in the first place (in my opinion).At the end I was more focused in Ava, and how wrongly she dealt with the abuse. Sorry if I offend anyone, but if a guy bashes me up, brakes my rips and left me bleeding, I would press charges!! The guy won't get away with hurting me. So, at the end I'm thinking how upset I was about Ava's part in the book instead of focusing on my 2 hot M/M.Honestly, if I knew that woman was going to be so much part of the story , I wouldn't have purchased this book. If you take her out of the picture for good, I would have giving this story 5 stars. less
