review 1: Better than the first book definitely closer to four stars rather than three but still not completely there. The beginning showed so much promise and then about halfway through the book it veered in another direction, so much so that it almost felt like should have been a different book, which was a little disorienting. One thing it did have going for it, is that it didn't suffer from second book syndrome. I thought it stood well on its own but also had enough suspense at the end that I'm excited for the release of the next book and I want to find out what happens to West and the rest of Kershe.
review 2: DIVIDED is a thrilling, action packed read. I loved the story line and the characters. Chapman has created an awesome world. We start off with West Grayer try... moreing to live a normal life, and she is done being a killer for hire. West has grown a lot from what her character was at first. She is making more mature, tough decisions that help to define her character. The Board will not just let her live her quiet life, and reels her back into her previous life. DIVIDED is action packed and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I give it 4/5 stars. less
