review 1: Dualed is an incredible YA Fiction/Dystopian novel, with romance, action, and mystery. Chapman does a magnificent job with everything: the plot, the characters, the writing style. She provides us with the opportunity to have our own personal relationship with Chord and West. Having a female heroine makes the novel even more enticing! Everything about this series is incredible! It's appropriate for any young adult/adult who can handle a bit of violence. The world of Kersh is so different from our own, and yet so similar in many ways. This would also be a great choice for an English Novel Study. I hope to see it turned into a movie or at least see a third novel sometime soon. ;)
review 2: This book started out pretty strong and stayed that way. It kept me guessin... moreg and hoping the entire time. My only complaints are that it was a bit jumpy at the start, spanning several days and weeks in the first sever chapters. The other complaint is that I feel like at times she skimped a bit on description and others she excelled. This being a debut novel, though, it was really good. I look forward to reading the sequel. less
