review 1: A Wedding In Valentine was such a great Novella to read. I have to say that I have not read anything by Emma Cane but after reading this series I am going to read her series. The characters had me on the floor laughing and the story line leaves it open to be a novel.Nate and Emily's wedding is finally here and everyone is excited. Heather who is her bride's made is excited for wedding until she sees the man she can not forget. She had an incredible weekend with this man and then all communication was lost and she has not stopped thinking about him. So when she sees him again her heart and mind can't stop thinking about the great weekend they spent together. When Chris who is Heather's brother sees the fiery redhead he spent a weekend with and can't get her out of his mind ... moreand heart he is excited until he realizes she is his sister's best friend. Oh Lord what a predicament he is in. He knows he wants Heather but how to have her and not fight with his sister. Plus to make matters worse his brother is so flirting with her and he is not liking that. Can these two finally be together or will outside forces keep them apart! This is a must read ladies!
review 2: Welcome back to Valentine Valley! Emily and Adam (from True Love at Silver Creek Ranch) are finally tying the knot. Heather Armstrong, one of Emily's close friends and bridesmaids flies in for the wedding and comes face to face with with Chris...her one and only one-night stand... Did I mention that Chris just happens to be Emily's brother?First off, I LOVE this series. I've read the two other books in this series, A Town Called Valentine and True Love at Silver Creek Ranch, so when the opportunity came to read this novella I dove in! This story is cute and sweet, a quick read with just enough glimpses of the residents of Valentine Valley to make you feel like you made a quick stop at a family reunion! I for one would LOVE to have brunch with the Widow's at the Boardinghouse (for those of you not familiar with this series- the founding women of the Valentine Valley Preservation Fund live in an old rundown brothel and work to preserve "women's history".. what they really do is add fun and entertainment to every book in this series! These ladies are a hoot. less
