review 1: Aspettavo questo libro per dare un finale al precedente della serie, conclusosi con il rapimento del capo famiglia e lasciato così un po' in sospeso...Qui la storia riprende dove si era interrotta, si ritrovano tutti i componenti della famiglia e la storia arriva a conclusione, con diversi avvenimenti, spostamenti e nuovi arrivi...Un bel libro, lo stile narrativo non e' mai lento o noioso, scorre veloce e non ci si accorge di essere alla fine; i personaggi sono ben caratterizzati e per essere muta forma i mutamenti sono davvero poco, l'aspetto vampiresco e' più legato al discorso sangue e morsi, ma e' comunque una piacevole lettura.
review 2: Emma Holly continues her Fitz Clare trilogy with this book that picks up on the cliffhanger ending of KISSING MIDNIGHT... more. Once again it was a read that I couldn't put down. The book builds upon the characters that we were introduced to in the first book, KISSING MIDNIGHT, and introduces us to some new characters that are sure to play major roles in the third book, SAVING MIDNIGHT. Ms. Holly does a wonderful job of keeping the story going and keeping the reader in suspense as to what will happen next. This book doesn't leave the reader hanging on a suspense cliff at the end, but there are many unanswered questions that this reader is looking forward to investigating in the next book, SAVING MIDNIGHT. I have to commend Ms. Holly on a wonderful job. I am thoroughly enjoying the Fitz Clare Chronicles. I think that this series may be some of her best works yet. less
