review 1: Wow! What a story. I loved this book. I couldn't put it down yet there were parts so real I had to walk away for awhile. The characters are real. Ash who must be perfect so as not to be like his father. Then there is Celeste who rose from nothing to the top yet couldn't be who she wants to be. This book was a rollercoaster ride with all the ups and downs delivered by this author. Emma you are an amazing author. This isn't the end. Now I must read the rest of this series for my HEA ending. This book is a bit deeper and darker than most romances. I believe this is what sets it apart from the others. Readers, please don't pass over this book. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did!
review 2: I absolutely adored this book. I thought the writing was perfect to... more the setting and that Celeste and Ashlin were both strong and independent together and separately. Celeste didn't compromise herself like so many heroines do when the hero pushes. And the subplots were engaging as well. Watching things progress with Ashlin's sisters was a fun addition. I quite look forward in reading more of this series. less
