review 1: Therese is a big girl who likes good food and relaxing. She has a skinny sister Nikki who is always on her about her size and tries to encourage her to loose weight, even though Therese is happy with herself. Then one day she wins VIP tickets to a Max Stone concert for her sister and she goes with her. And of course, Max Stone finds Therese attractive and pays extra special attention to her. This was a short novella that ended as a cliff hanger and left me wanting more. I enjoyed it!
review 2: This felt like the first few chapters of a good story rather than a novella. I read it in just over half an hour. It was an Amazon freebie and I was interested enough to look up part 2 but it's £2 and there are another 4 parts after that all priced at £2 each. Alternat... moreively the whole series is available for £6. I'm afraid not interested enough to pay that for one story. Not a big fan of serialising stories like this, I prefer one long book.The story was ok, but nothing special, it all unfolded at breakneck speed. less
