review 1: I love Downton Abbey!I'm currently partway through series 5, and I must say that reading this made me want to re-watch the first four series :)The book is fun and interesting with lovely photos. I definitely recommend it to Downton fans.It's very detailed, so a lot of people would probably find it easier to appreciate in smaller doses. Try reading 10 or so pages in a sitting, and then come back to it again later.
review 2: Profusely illustrated with beautiful photographs, this book gives candid interviews with producers, actors, and other contributors to the show. A little self congratulatory, but who cares. This book keeps us connected to that edwardian fantasy world they have created and it's always nice to see more photos of the actors and their beautiful cl... moreothes. Maybe they will come out with "The Complete Costumes of Downton Abbey" and then my life will be complete : ) less
