The Kindred
review 1: Everyone learns of the power Cassie has and if she plans to survive she must run and hide. The group must part ways for a while but nothing prepared them for the traitor that was within the group. Julian is the only person Cassie has now to help her get through the experiment but his isn’t doing much better than she is. Friendships will be in jeopardy, lines will be crossed and unexpected things and feelings will come forward. Kindled was a little slow at times but it has a way of ending and leaving you wanting more and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
review 2: I liked the book. However, it seems a bit repetative in saying "she wrapped her arms around herself". It seems every few lines she repeats the same phrase. Also, She seems to try
... more over and over to explain the same senerio instead of moving on with the book. I thing explaining what is happening one time is suciffent. Unless, it really is something that needs more detail in the description in order to enhance the book. Overall the book was ok. If you read the first book you are usually stuck reading the series because your curiosity insists it has to get better with each book, but in this case it just stays at pretty much a plateau. less
