Book Shopping

Few days ago was Harbolnas—National Online Shopping Day—so I decided to shop some books from Gramedia.com as I have some spare money from dad. To be honest, it wasn’t intentional, like I didn’t really want to shop but to see that Gramedia.com offered 50% discount and free shipping fee, so I was kinda “oh, man.. such a nice offer,” even though I knew that was a marketing strategy, still, I clicked some books and added them to my cart.

Nothing much. I only bought five books, and it was only cost me around IDR189.500, which I think it was quite cheap. So they are: Cecilia Ahern’s If You Could See Me Now, How To Fall in Love, One Hundred Names, The Year I Met You and Gayle Forman’s I Was Here. If you ask me why did I buy four books of Cecilia Ahern, the answer would be because I really love her book Love, Rosie. I tend to buy books from a familiar author, or that I ever read their book before and had a nice trip during the reading. I also have Gayle Forman’s Just One Day and Just One Year, so I want to experiment another of her writing through I Was Here. I think both of the authors write really beautifully. Speaking of author, I also like Meg Cabot’s Boy Series. I only have the English copy of When Boy Meets Girl, and it’s really good. I want to complete the series but it’s kinda hard to find them. Oh my gosh, I’m excited and can’t wait to receive the books and read them!

Oops. I almost forgot that I have pile of unread books, local-authored books, translated books, and also English books, yet I keep buying more. I think I need to start read them so I can buy more and more books next  year. Yea, that’s a regular new year resolution of mine, lol.

Till next time, cheerios!
