review 1: Honestly, I don't think I'd have picked this book up if I hadn't been on the exercise bike and wanting to get to my next read quickly, but I am glad that I did.I wasn't blown away by this book, but it was a fun read. It jumps straight in to the action, which I like, and provides a good mix of spook and spice. It romps along, a combination of bodice-ripper and ghost hunt, so if you're looking for realism, this book is not for you, but if you want some escapism, I'd recommend it as a light read.
review 2: Erin Quinn delivers no matter what she writes it draws you into the story. Her characters are rich and complex even for a short story she takes the time to set an errie mood and build up some sexual tension to on top of it. I found I really liked Carly Ryan. A
... morestrong, independent woman who is faced with the unknown and though terrified, she bravely faces the unknown menace with a courage which is truly endearing. JD is every womans dream. Tall, golden and sexy as hell He is a man with a deep sense of doing the right thing even when teased about being a boyscout you find yourself wanting to infiltrate the club to find a JD of your very own. Stranded in a haunted house the pace is fast and the tension never stops.Carly is despreate to find her best friend who has been in a car accident, JD spies the wreckage and goes to the home to look for survivors. I can tell you so much more but why spoil it for you? All I'll say is the end is a revelation and leaves you satified. less
