review 1: A very surprising short story. It took me three reads to properly derive the meaning of the two characters' conversations, but the writing was incredibly well done in its simplicity. I thought that the execution of the story was very accomplished, and each reading was more beneficial than the last. A very rewarding story that will take you no time at all, and is one everyone should definitely look into.
review 2: A for-school read: short and poignant, which is exactly how I like my short stories to be. The writing style was shockingly simple, to the point of being juvenile, but at the same time this is a story that is brilliantly well-written and contains much more than meets the eye. While I don't know if this will go into the ranks of my FAVORITE short storie
... mores, it will certainly go into a place of appreciation and interest, because in truth, it contains everything I hope for in a short story. less

I'm not sure what I read... I think this story is more about what is not said than what is.

The subtlety was so devastating that it almost escaped me.
