review 1: Once I started this book I could not put it down, i had to know what happen next. Mary gets married to her love name Joshua and they moved to his fathers house which needs work on. Mary loves to paint. Mary gets all these feelings inside of her that she doesn't know what to do. Mary and Joshua gets in a fight and don't talk to each other. Mary can't let go of her past and its still haunting her. Finally her and Joshua talks and she tells him she needs to go for a drive to think. She does and she call's her sister Jamie to talk to her while she is talking to her Mary see's a man in the road and the only thing she can do is turn the wheel the other way, and the car goes into the railing and Mary gets thrown out of the car down into the bank, Mary tries to move but she can't.... more The guy that was on the road comes down asking her if she is okay and he tells her he will make her feel better and soon she does. Mary wakes up the next day and sees the guy and realize's that he is not Joshua. Mary soon finds out who this guy is, and all she want's is to go back to Joshua and soon she does. But one of them must die in order for the other person to live, Joshua soon finds out about the guy and everything else. I could go on about this Awesome book, but I am not If you have not read it, you need to It is a MUST Read!!!
review 2: I'm not sure what to think of this. It's written beautifully and it's an interesting plot, I'll give it that. I even understand how Mary feels a lot. The ending is what made me go "What the hell?". There's just this big plot hole, or character hole, at the end. You find out this Lucas guy is some demon or devil or whatever, and then what is Lucas? Is he supposed to be a witch? An angel? An angel in human disguise? Who knows?! A little more background information would have been helpful. less

Needs a better synopsis going in and more foreshadowing. But was good.

Ransom theory in novella form. Lacking the end of the story.
