review 1: Addie is a very angry woman. She attends a prestigious school where money rules, and bullying is overlooked by the teachers. When she is finally gets to the end of the torturous tunnel called high school, tragedy hits and leaves Addie in a darker place than ever before. Ten years later, Addie watches as her sister is hoping to finish what Addie never did. Then one day the ringleader of her tortured days appears with the promise of more difficult times for Addie, but also with a silver lining that she cannot ignore.Reading this story, I could actually feel Addie's anger. Unfortunately, it was so strong that I could not help but not like her. Enter Daimon. He is annoying and narcissistic to the point you immediately dislike him. The only thing positive about him is that you ... morewould have something good to look at as he irritated you to death. However, one does not need to like the characters to enjoy the story. It is the typical rich boy/ poor girl setup, but there are a couple of twists thrown in to keep it different. The poor grammar and comma violations are bad enough to cause a loss in rating. There are random sentences and paragraphs that seem out of place, making it awkward. The author should get her money back from the editors because they truly failed her on this one.
review 2: Gifted CopyThis book is going to have you so wrapped up that you can’t put it down till you finish it. Addie had it all going for her coming from a family that doesn’t have much she has pushed herself to always do her best. Daimon always the bully picking and tormenting Addie any chance he could. You going to love and hate this story. It’s going to have you in tears and ready to fight all at the same time. I could not get enough of this book and can’t wait till the next book comes out. I have to tell you this is a really good cliffhanger book; you are just left staring at the book wondering what just happen. It was awesome to have a book to that to me. I love books with cliffhanger but this one topped the cake. Biting my nails for the next book to come out!This book is going as one of the top books I read this year! less
