review 1: It's been a few days since I read it, but what I remember is that I didn't absolutely hate it.I was annoyed with the whole reason for the demon going after the main character (whose name is escaping me now). There was no real reason at all, other than 'she went to one of the crime scenes'. It was just too weak. I mean there could have been so many other much stronger reasons for the demon to want to go after her.And that's all I remember.
review 2: Disappointed. Usually love Eve Langlais books but for me this didn't hit the mark. Loved the male characters but Chloe really irritated me with how she treated them at times, made me feel she didn't deserve them. Also, even with the epilogue the story was unfinished, would they stay together, would Chloe deal with he... morer issues, what about becoming a vampire like it was suggested? Too many loose ends and not enough romance. less
