review 1: Some of the stories where pretty poor and some were part of a series which I hadn't read so made little sense to me or just didn't work for me because I didn't have a connection to the characters... BUT! then there were stories and authors that I never read before and loved :) I was a mixed bag, I cant remember now which ones I liked so I cannot individually rate them sadly! Based on the price, the quality overall and the enjoyment I got from the boxset I would rate this four stars
review 2: I love anthologies but big anthologies like this one overwhelm me a bit. Good news! All the stories are solid enjoyable reads. They are all their own story and not teasers or ads from other books. Yea! Yet.Viola Rivard - Lost in Winter: Lost in the snow-locked mountains with her niece, a young woman finds hope in a handsome, enigmatic bear shifter.I love bear shifters so I flipped (e book style) right to this one. He is a cool bear. The kids are fun. Michele Bardsley - Bear Witness: When Gretchen goes on the run with her murdered sister's baby, only Rafe has the skills to keep her safe from the superhuman hunters who want her dead. Didn't read this one. Yet.V. M. Black - A Heart in Winter Lady Marston is dying--but a mysterious doctor claims that he can save her life. At what cost to her love and her family will come the cure?
