review 1: This book was a quick, fun book to read. Well, until the end. I won't give the end away, but I was very disappointed. I would compare the book to a reality television show. They put a lot of people together that would not normally get to know each other very well. But, they come together in the mother's group and bond since they are going through a huge life changing event at the same time. Each woman is such a cliché; a casting director could not have done a better job. But, it was interesting to look at their personal lives and see how no one has the "perfect" life. It was such a guilty pleasure to see all the women's dirty little secrets. Then, the ending comes. It was catastrophic. All the loose strings were then somewhat tied up, but not really, and the bo... moreok was ended as soon as possible. I would actually rate this book 4 stars for the first 4 1/2 chapters. The last chapter and a half was about a one star.
review 2: Great read. At first I thought it was going to be just one of those light and fluffy chick-lit novels. But as I continued reading it became increasingly difficult to put the book down. The author has adeptly set out the many variations of how motherhood can be. The impact of a baby’s arrival on a couple’s relationship. The realities. Essential reading for any woman considering becoming a mother. less

Loved this book. I couldn't put it down. Could relate to certain aspects. Great writing.

Ended well but I found most of the story depressing. Didn't really enjoy reding it.
