review 1: This is a book that can go either way, literally! Even the end matter has been prepared so that it doesn't matter which way you start or end. There is a cute little creature exploring the world around, and you get the sense that the little one would like to go home or is having the grand adventure of his/her life. It is interesting and could be engaging for some readers. I didn't find it to be too engaging for me though.
review 2: The are plenty of good things to say about this innovative approach to vertical/circular storytelling. The color intensity, graphic design and interacts, crisp images a that flow into each other and from page to page, and the "reader control" of being able to choose e direction of the story wills tract and hold attention. I kept f... moreeeling that there was "something else" I was hoping for, but even without that elusive something, the design alone makes this an interesting book to explore. less
