review 1: The authors claim to have done around 400 interviews in the period of 4 years or so. If that's so, the book felt very light. The initial chapters about the bull's eye framework and critical path were pretty inspirational, but the single chapters about the traction channels were a bit light and very general. There were some quotes and excerpts from the interviews, but still it felt very general. It could have been better if each chapter included some case study from a real company (preferably not giants, but middle size companies who are more similar to startups).
review 2: This book is a must read if you want to deeply understand marketing, growth hacking and traction strategies in the new digital age. The first five chapters are a great work on how to implemen
... moret a lean and experimentation system to test and learn the best traction tactics to implement. The other chapters are the meat of the book. Each is about a specific traction tactic and how to implement it. Read it to learn how to grow your startups, app or business! less
